About Gowbarrow Hall Farm
We are a 3rd generation family run farm in the Lake District National Park, by the shores of Ullswater.
Our Meat
Everything we do is seasonal with the farming calendar. At certain times of the year you can buy meat from us directly. Sign up to our mailing list to hear when we have meat available.
Wilder Gowbarrow
Wilder Gowbarrow is part of our mission to improve the sustainability of our farm business as well as our environment. It is a joint project between Gowbarrow Hall Farm and Wilderculture C.I.C.
Our Pigs
We keep kune kune pigs which have the freedom to roam our wood pasture, living as natural lives as they possibly can.
Our Cows
We have a suckler herd of beef shorthorn cattle, which we manage regeneratively to mimic nature.
Leather
From our hides we produce fully traceable leather handbags, purses and keyrings.
