Our Farm

Gowbarrow Hall Farm is a family run farm on the south facing shores of Ullswater in the Lake District. The farm is under the management of Sam and Claire Beaumont, as the third generation. We are passionate about maintaining the natural beauty of the landscape and enriching the wildlife that falls within it. We are caring for the environment and are conscious of how farming fits within the wider global issues that our planet is facing.

The Barn

Lovingly restored and developed into a gathering space. Our beautiful barn, grounded in nature with its exposed beams and offering a warm welcome with its wood burner is ideal for educational presentations, training courses, team building away days and regenerative leadership training as well as relaxation retreats, unique dining experiences and an exclusive wedding venue.

Our Produce

All our meat and leather goods are lovingly produced with the care and attention they deserve. Using the seasons to guide us and with animal welfare and sustainability at the heart of everything we do, we produce the finest quality meat and handmade leather goods.

Our Meat

Everything we do is seasonal with the farming calendar. At certain times of the year we deliver beef boxes both locally and nationally. We also have some beef and pork products available to buy from the farm frozen via prior appointment throughout the year.

Our Leather

We sell fully traceable leather products, from handbags to keyrings, all of which are produced from leather from our cattle and tanned in the UK. The pieces are all handmade by us on the farm and are truly unique products, reflecting the life each animal has led.

Our Events

We regularly hold events and also provide quarterly updates on what is happening on the farm.
