We have established a Community Garden on the farm which not only allows us to grow fresh produce used to make delicious, healthy meals for our Barn event space but also offers a welcome space for volunteers to come along and offer a helping hand.
Everyone is welcome, whether you would like to come along by yourself or as a group there is more than enough jobs to go around! And don’t be worried if you have no previous gardening experience as there will always be a friendly face on hand to offer guidance, handy helpful hints and tips and a reassuring smile. We also have plenty of tools to use so again don’t worry if you’re new to the world of gardening and haven’t invested in a trusty kit yet.
Volunteer days for the Community Garden are currently every Tuesday. The days are run by Sally Brading, who is a qualified GP and knows the enormous health and well being benefits of working with plants and gardens.
We’d love for you to come along and be a part of our community, everyone is welcome. So that we make sure we are ready for when you arrive could you please drop us a quick email to let you know the date and time you would like to visit and whether it will be just yourself or the number of people in your group. You can send us a quick message from the contact form at the bottom of this page.
We can’t wait to greet you!
